Revelation of John 8

The Seventh Seal— the Trumpets

1When the Lamb broke the aseventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2And I saw bthe seven angels who stand before God, and seven ctrumpets were given to them.

3 dAnother angel came and stood at the ealtar, holding a fgolden censer; and much gincense was given to him, so that he might

5Then the angel

6 tAnd the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.

7The first sounded, and there came uhail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and va third of the earth was burned up, and wa third of the xtrees were burned up, and all the green ygrass was burned up.

8The second angel sounded, and something like a great zmountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and aaa third of the absea became blood, 9and aca third of the creatures which were in the sea

10The third angel sounded, and a great star affell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a agthird of the rivers and on the ahsprings of waters. 11The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a aithird of the waters became ajwormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

12The fourth angel sounded, and a akthird of the alsun and a third of the ammoon and a anthird of the aostars were struck, so that a apthird of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a aqthird of it, and the night in the same way.

13Then I looked, and I heard
